Day 01: Cusco – City Tour – Cusco.

We’ll welcome you at Cusco’s airport by our transfer and transport to your hotel, in the afternoon you’ll have the City Tour, more than visit only the Cusco city itself, in this tour, you’ll have the option to visit Inca’s sites located in the upper part of Cusco.

The only place inside Cusco City will be Qoricancha, this place is very well known as the Temple of the Sun, in Inca’s time this place was the most important religious center of all the Tawantinsuyo (original name of the Inca’s land), this place shows one of the finest constructions of the Inca masonry;

Then the next place to visit is Saqsayhuaman located in the upper part of Cusco where you’ll have a really nice view of Cusco city, also here is the spot where you will be amazed by seeing the megalithic building made by the Incas, where they used gigantic boulders from 1 to 128 tons; continue our tour we’ll arrive to Qenqo, other ceremonial place dedicated to the Pachamama (Mother earth), this is a big carved stone by the Incas, where they used this natural formation to make us imagine how hard was their work.

Then you’ll continue to Pukapukara a fortress and point to take control for all people who arrived in Cusco, and we’ll end our tour visiting Tambomachay the temple of the water, then we’ll bring you back to the hotel in Cusco. This tour lasts four hours, and you can go in the morning or in the afternoon.

Day 02: Machupicchu.

Enjoy the second day of the tour with the trip to Machu Picchu by train from Ollantaytambo station.

We’ll pick you up from the hotel and take you by car to Ollantaytambo Train station (located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an hour and a half from Cusco.), from this place we’ll go by train for one and a half hours to arrive at Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu), arriving there, the guide will pick you up from the train station and is going to take you by bus to the archaeological site of Machupicchu, where you’ll have two hours guided tour, this will be around the main places of the citadel, then, you’ll have free time to explore Machupicchu and take pictures your own (two hours).

After the free time you’ll return to Aguas Calientes where you’ll have a free time to have lunch; then, you have to be in the train station to take your train, the train will take you to Ollantaytambo train station again, so there, we’ll pick you up to bring you back by bus to Cusco (arrival around 18:30 hrs or 20:00 or 22:30 hrs.).

In addition to making a trip by train to Machu Picchu, there is always the possibility of enjoying a cheap trip to Machu Picchu by bus.

Day 03: Cusco

Breakfast, transfer by car to the airport or bus station for your travel to your next destination or flight back home.
