1.- The tour seems perfect to me, I know I don’t have time, but is it enough to visit Machu Picchu?
Of course it is, choosing any itinerary, you will have between 3 to 4 hours in the citadel, two hours to have a guided information tour and then free time.
2.- I want the tour, but including the ascent to Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, is it possible?
Yes you can, choosing an early schedule and returning late you can do the visit of Machu Picchu in addition to the ascent to one of the mountains, you only have to specify the date to see the availability, this has an extra cost of US$ 65.00 per person.
3.- I arrive in Cusco one day before, do you think I will have problems with the altitude in Machu Picchu?
There are many people who arrive the same way as you; Machu Picchu is much lower in altitude than Cusco, so if you have any problems in Cusco you will surely feel better in Machu Picchu because the only way to not have problems or complications with the altitude is to descend. Cusco (3350 mts.) Machu Picchu (2450 mts), Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Village (2050 mts).
4.- I am traveling with my family, we have an 8 year old child and a 65 year old, will there be much difficulty for them?
The Machu picchu one day tour is one of the most comfortable, yes, in Machu Picchu you walk, it is the only way to visit the park, if someone has a lot of difficulty walking I recommend taking a tour in private service, so you can do the tour at your own pace without following a group.
5.- I don’t like to give my personal information from my passport, is there any way to book the tour with names only?
We understand your concern, but the data requested is exclusively to fill the data in your tickets, these tickets are electronic tickets, it is like to take a plane, you have to show the ticket and your original passport; our privacy policies are very strict, your information will be in safe hands, we also hate SPAM.
6.- What happens if I have a delay and can’t make the tour?
Unfortunately, all tickets would be purchased and the whole tour would be lost, any change or cancellation of tour, has a penalty, this never happens, but if it will happen we assure you that we will do everything in our hands, we recommend you to see our refund/cancellation policies.
7.- How far in advance should I book the Machu Picchu Day Tour?
It is recommended to book Machu picchu one day tour at least two months in advance.
8.- What is the best season to take Machu picchu one day tour?
The best season to do Machu picchu one day tour is during the dry season, which goes from May to September, but if you want a more lush, wooded and less crowded landscape you can do it from October to April.
9.- Can I add Waynapicchu to this tour?
Yes, you only have to request it through WhatsApp to add Waynapicchu but keep in mind an extra cost and your physical condition.
10.- Do children and students pay the same ticket price as adults?
Yes, children and students pay a reduced price compared to adults to enter Machu Picchu.
11.- What is the location of the hot springs of Machu Picchu?
The hot springs of Machu Picchu are located in the upper part of the village, which means that to get to them you must walk, since there is no public transportation in this area. The starting point of your hike will be the Plaza Manco Capac, from where you will continue along Avenida Pachacutec, then continue along Avenida Hermanos Ayar. Go straight on the road and you will notice the stone sculptures; continue in that direction and eventually you will find the entrance to the thermal baths.
Inka Time were very professional, punctual, communicative and always available to us.
The attention to our family was incredible. They welcomed my parents who were celebrating their birthday with a beautiful surprise making our trip memorable. We are infinitely grateful for their patience with us and going above and beyond the call of duty to make our experience special. This trip to Machu Picchu would not have been the same without the involvement of the agency and the guides.
