We will depart from the Maras village, where you will get a picture of the everyday life of the people who live there and where you can admire the typical facades of the Columbian houses. We will ride through spectacular places where few people come through and where nature puts on its best to impress you. We will also admire indescribable landscapes of raising sacred mountains. Among the peaks, you will be able to distinguish the 5,682 meters high “WaqaqWillka” (“Crying sacred mountain”), known as La Verónica, as well as the guardian of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, “El Chicón”, 5,530 meters above ground. You will also have a panoramic sight of the “Vilcanota” mountain chain after we’ll be back to Maras and we’ll bring you back by bus to Cusco
I did a day trip with Inka Time to Machu Picchu! It was such a wonderful experience! They made it very easy for us at every stop, picking us up... read more or having someone wait for us. The best part of the experience was Jesus our tour guide!!! He was so knowledgeable and very fun and easy to be around. I loved learning from him and also spending the day at Machu Picchu with him! Overall great time! Thank you Inka Time!
Great Experience! We did a 3-day tour with them (Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Lake Humantay). Our point of contact, Veronica, was excellent and answered all our questions. Our guides... read more for all 3 days provided great insights to the history and culture of the landscape and temples, and were very nice! We booked a private tour with Elvis for Machu Picchu and it was worth the extra money.
We took the 3 days tour with all tickets and transporte included. Our tour coordinator, Elisabeth, was super good! Always taking care of us all the days of our trip.... read more This was definetely a plus! We loved the tour to the Sacred Valley and the day in Machu Picchu. The tours were given also in english which was good for my belgian boyfriend. All touristic guides very well prepared and enthousiastic for giving us the best experience. Definetely recommendable!!!
From the start, Beto was fast and great at communicating with us while my friends and I were planning our trip. He answered our many questions about the different tours... read more and even remembered details about our trip since one of my friends took on the communicator role with him after I initially reached out. Beto and Inkatime customized our tour so that we saw the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain in 3 days. Our whole time in Cusco we were taken care of with organized taxi rides from our drop off points to our accommodations. Elizabeth was great at organizing these details and communicating with us the details of our tour a day in advance. She even rode in the taxi with us to one our accommodations in Cusco when we were concerned about its location. Inkatime, Beto, and Elizabeth really took care of my friends and I during our trip to Peru. 🇵🇪 We would highly recommend booking your tours with them and have already recommended them to our friends. When we go back to Peru, we’ll definitely be using this tour agency again.
We lacked better organization and information in english, for example how many minutes we have for lunch, trip,
We did the full day of mountain biking with Jose. This was amazing and challenging at the same time. Mara’s salt mines and Moray were spectacular. Make sure you have... read more the stamina as you bike in around 3600m e
Inka Time was so organized & helpful from the minute we booked the day tour to Machu Picchu. We received a precise agenda of how the day would go.... read more We also received very helpful advice on what to expect when we traveled to Cusco since we were coming from a much lower altitude and unfamiliar with the country. The day before our tour, a representative visited with us to ensure we understood how to travel and when to get to Machu Picchu. They had a transfer associate meet us at one point, again to make sure we did not get lost & stayed on schedule. At Machu Picchu, Elvis was an amazing guide! He allowed us to take all the time we wanted to view each area & take as many pictures as we wanted. He had a great sense of humor & kept the tour incredibly interesting with his knowledge of Inca history and of Machu Picchu. We couldn't have asked for more from this tour. I picked Inca Time because their prices were so reasonable compared to other companies. I was worried we wouldn't get the best experience since we were paying less, but this is one of the best experiences of all our travels! We HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone visiting Peru!
Rainbow Mountain tour was well organized, pick-up was smooth, guides and the actual tour were amazing! Both breakfast and lunch we

1.- I am just one person, can I join some group tour?
Yes, you can, we have departure every day, feel free to decide when to go.
2.- We don’t like to go in a big group, can we arrange a private tour?
Yes you can, our group tours go with 15 or 19 people, but if you want, you can also arrange a private tour, we have different rates for it depending on how many people you are.
3.- I will travel with my family, we have two 65 YO people, do you think, can they make it?
We had people on this tour from 70 and 75 YO, the tour is not hard, but you have some small hikes into the Inca Sites where there are many steps to go up and down if you think they are not to fit to do it, we recommend to take a Private tour, that will be a perfect plan to do the tour quite easily and smoothly.
4.- We want to take the tour included Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, do we have enough time to do it in the same day tour of Machu Picchu?
Yes, On this tour you will sleep in Aguas Calientes (Town of Machu Picchu) so you can take some of the first busses, the park opens at 6:00 am. suppose that you will get in at 7:00 am. First, you can climb the Mountain (2 or 3 and 1/2 hours hike) until 10:30 am. Then, you can go out to use the toilet or eat something and rest, then you can start the guided tour around the citadel (Around 2 hours) until 14:00 hrs. Then you will have free time to continue exploring on your own, the park is open until 5 pm. You will have like 10 hours to be there, the train departure to return is at 19:00 hrs.
5.- How about my luggage, can I take all my staff?, or where can I store it?
As this tour is only for 2 days we recommend to take only small backpacks because there are restrictions to take on the train, and also all the streets in Aguas Calientes have only pedestrian access. The rest of your stuff you can be stored at your accommodation in Cusco, All the Hotels have storage if you book the night for your way back, you can leave your stuff there, another option is that you can leave your stuff in our office, in the two options you don’t need to pay anything extra.
6.- How about the altitude, Are going to pass by other places higher than Cusco?
Cusco city is located in 3350 masl. (10990 Ft.) the only place higher than Cusco is Chinchero area 3750 masl. then you will descend to Aguas Calientes 2050 masl. Machu Picchu is located in 2450 masl (8038 Ft.); we always recommend to have at least one day in Cusco to acclimatize; altitude sickness is very different for everyone, sometimes you don’t have any problem.
