Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up (6:30 – 7:00 AM). We’ll depart from Cusco on a scenic 6.5-hour drive towards the Hydroelectric station 🚐💨.

Today is the day! We start early (around 5:30 AM – this will be depend on your entrance ticket) to beat the crowds and feel the morning energy of the Andes 🙏.

• The Ascent: We’ll take a 25-minute shuttle bus to the main entrance of the Machu Picchu Archaeological Center 🚌🔝.

• The Experience: Alongside your expert guide, you’ll embark on a 2-hour immersive tour. Depending on your circuit, you will explore the most iconic sites: the Temple of the Sun, the Inca’s House, the Water Mirrors, and the Temple of the Condor 🦅🗿. You will have approximately 3 hours in total to soak in the majesty of the citadel.

• The Return: After the tour, we’ll hike back to the Hydroelectric station (approx. 3 hours) to catch our return bus at 3:00 PM 🕒. We expect to arrive back in Cusco around 9:30 PM, concluding an unforgettable journey 🌌🏠.

FAQ: Everything You Need to Know About Your Machu Picchu by car Journey 📑✨

1. The Machu Picchu by Bus tour sounds perfect, but is it enough time to actually see the citadel? Absolutely! Regardless of the itinerary you choose, you will have between 3 hours inside the citadel. All circuits are designed as one-way paths, allowing you plenty of time to explore and take photos.

2. I want the tour, but I also want to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Is that possible? Yes, it is! You can head up to Machu Picchu early in the morning and do these extra hikes either before or after your guided tour. This depends on the specific entry time of your mountain ticket. We take care of all the reservations for these extra permits for you. 🏔️💪

3. I’m arriving in Cusco just one day before the tour. Will the altitude be a problem at Machu Picchu? Many of our travelers arrive just like you. Actually, Machu Picchu is at a much lower altitude than Cusco. If you feel any discomfort in Cusco, you will likely feel better once you arrive at the citadel. The best remedy for altitude is to descend.

4. I’m traveling with my family, including an 8-year-old and a senior (65+). Will it be too difficult for them? This is one of our most comfortable tours. However, walking is the only way to explore the archaeological site. If someone in your group has significant mobility issues, we highly recommend a Private Service. This allows you to explore at your own pace without the pressure of keeping up with a group.

5. I’m hesitant to share my passport information. Can I book with just my name? We completely understand your concern. However, these are official electronic tickets—similar to boarding a plane. You must provide your passport details for the booking and present your original physical passport at the entrance. 6. What happens if I have a delay and miss the tour? Unfortunately, once tickets are purchased, they are non-refundable, and the tour would be lost. Every change or cancellation carries a penalty. 8. When is the best time of year for this tour? The dry season (May to September) offers clear skies and sunny days. However, if you prefer lush, green landscapes and fewer crowds, the rainy season (October to April) is a beautiful and quieter time to visit. 🌿🌤️

9. Can I add Huayna Picchu to this specific tour? Yes! Just request it via WhatsApp. Keep in mind there is an extra cost, permits are limited, and it requires a moderate to high physical condition.

11. What are the opening hours for Machu Picchu? The sanctuary is open from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please note that the very last entry is at 3:00 PM. 🕒

12. How long does the visit to the Llaqta (Citadel) last? A standard visit lasts approximately 3 hours. If you enter at the final slot (3:00 PM), you will only have 2 hours before the park closes at 5:00 PM.
