TOUR RAINBOW MOUNTAIN AND RED VALLEY

• Pickup & Breakfast: We begin our Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley tour with a pickup from your hotel between 4:15 and 5:00 a.m. (depending on location). We travel approximately 1.5 hours to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
• The Hike Begins: We continue for another 1.5 hours to the trailhead at Kairawiri (4,430 m / 14,534 ft). The uphill hike takes about 1 hour, surrounded by stunning landscapes, towering mountains, and local people in traditional clothing tending to their Alpacas and Llamas.
• Rainbow Mountain Summit: Upon arriving at Vinicunca (5,036 m / 16,522 ft), you will have free time to rest and take photos of the colorful scenery.
• The Red Valley (Exclusive): Unlike standard tours, we then head to the Red Valley. This is a quieter, unique experience known for its striking red soil and fewer tourists. This extra hiking loop takes about 1.5 hours (round trip).
• Lunch & Return: After exploring, we hike downhill back to Kairawiri. Our transport will take us back to Cusipata for a comforting lunch.
• Arrival in Cusco: We return to the city around 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. (Drop-off is one block from the Main Square due to traffic restrictions).

• Hotel Pickup: We pick you up directly from your hotel.

• Horse Rental: Only for Kayrawiri to the Summit of Rainbow Mountain, Approx. S/ 60.00 PEN (approx. US$ 20.00). Note: Horses are rented directly by the local community members. This must be paid in cash on-site.

Packing List (What to bring):

• Daypack: A small backpack for essentials.
• Warm Layers: Jacket, fleece, gloves, and a beanie (it is often cold and windy at the summit).
• Sun Protection: Sun hat and high SPF sunscreen (UV radiation is very intense at high altitudes).
• Footwear: Hiking boots or shoes with good grip.
• Snacks & Water: Chocolate, fruit, nuts, and plenty of water. Note: Breakfast is at 6:00 a.m. and lunch is after 1:00 p.m., so snacks are essential.
• Sunglasses: Highly recommended for the glare.

For Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley tour, 100% payment is required to secure your booking.

2. Western Union: Money transfer (Client assumes transfer fees).
