This exciting adventure quad bike tour in the Sacred Valley; Maras, Moray and salt mines, begins just one hour from the city of Cusco.
To do this magnificent activity you don’t need much experience of riding, all our ATVs are automatic and semi-automatic, this allows you to appreciate the beautiful views and being in contact with nature.
We offer you 2 different routes where you will also have time to visit the archaeological site of Moray (optional), the Salineras (salt mines), also you can see the small town of Maras and the lakes around the route. we know, this will be the best adventure activity on a half day off in Cusco.
For this adventure tour, we have departure every day, and you can start in the morning (7:00 am.) or in the afternoon (1:00 pm.)
The municipality of Maras is working on paving the bus route to go to Moray, that is why for these days until December we are not going to this place, there is high traffic, and passengers must walk for 30 minutes to go to see it.
Please, take a look only to go to ROUTE 2: Huaypo Lake and Salt Mines.
👇TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE INFORMATION 👇
The Quad bike tour in the Sacred Valley begins in Cusco, we usually meet in the main square (Plaza de Armas) around the water fountain because there is a lot of traffic to pick up at the hotels.
Then we take you 45 minutes by car to our base located in Cruzpata.
After short information about the quads and safety, we will practice for 10 minutes, then we start the tour, you will be riding for approximately 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours, all-around off-road.
In the way, you will find people who are doing their daily life, we will pass through places where only a few people go and where nature will show you the best you can imagine; every moment, every view will make you feel special;
in the route, we can also visit the archaeological site of Moray (this was a kind of green house for Incas), From September to December 2022 is not available for this tour.
Also, when you finish the activity, our transportation will take you to see the salt mines, this because it is not allowed to ride with quads till that place, there you will see the more than 4000 fountains of salt (SALINERAS) Those are exploited so far by local people,
and also the lake (this will depend on which route you decide to go, if you don’t want to go to Moray you can go to lake Waypo).
Then, we will return to our base, where our transportation will be waiting for you to bring you back to Cusco.
With no doubt, this will be one of the best options for your very pleasant vacation in Cusco.
Note: You can also start this tour from Urubamba or another place around the Sacred Valley, please require prices and information.
